Ahmed Shaheed

I'm a developer in Baghdad. I build the software businesses run on day to day: storefronts, order and inventory systems, internal apps. Usually front to back, usually in both Arabic and English.

Right now I'm on Shgad and NoorIQ, the ECMS rebuild, and Shasi.

Work

Shgad 2026 – present

A platform where merchants run their own store on their own subdomain, with separate views for customers, store owners, and platform admins. It covers products, stock, checkout, delivery, and reporting, including sales taken offline or over Instagram.

Next.js, TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, R2, Turso

Al Rafidain 2025 – 2026

A call-center and order system handling thousands of orders a day: customer records, incoming calls, order preparation, and WhatsApp conversations and paced bulk broadcasts, across desktop, Android, and a bilingual storefront. The current desktop app replaced an earlier Electron build.

React, Tauri, tRPC, Cloudflare Workers, LibSQL

Nicotine Dose 2026

An Arabic and English store with WhatsApp sign-in, stock-aware checkout, and order tracking. I built the storefront and the mobile admin dashboard, both installable, with push notifications for customers and staff.

Next.js, TypeScript, Drizzle, Turso, Vercel

NoorIQ Private Android app · 2026 – present

A solar company's daily operation in one Android app: customers, deals, inventory, suppliers, and purchases. It handles installment collections, payment follow-ups, and expenses, with each staff role seeing only its own part.

React Native, Expo, tRPC, Cloudflare Workers, Turso

ECMS Private project · 2023 – present

A system for managing people, organizational structure, responsibilities, and internal communication: scoped permissions, events and attendance, broadcasts, and reporting, with a mobile client. I worked on the earlier application and am now on the rebuild.

React Native, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, Cloudflare

Esite

Full-stack developer · December 2025 – August 2026

I worked across a shared Go commerce backend, its TypeScript SDK, the React admin dashboard, and Next.js storefronts. My work covered catalog and product variants, checkout, shipping discounts, order flows, authentication, and payments through Stripe, ZainCash, and QiCard. I also rewrote the service that extracts structured data from uploaded product files, moving it from TypeScript to Go.

Tasafi
I built this site for a Basra engineering and industrial solutions company, wiring services, projects, news, partners, and certifications to the CMS in Arabic and English.
Ô Nature
I contributed to this natural-products storefront, working on checkout, shipping discounts, order details, and phone validation.
Moona
I built this storefront for a kitchen and bakery supplies business, in Arabic and English, with live shipping rates at checkout.
Sharray
A bilingual admin dashboard for a multi-business platform: business teams manage orders, products, customers, and staff, while platform admins manage the businesses and switch between them. Built with React, TanStack Router, and TanStack Query.

More work

Prime Karbala / Dawamix 2024 – 2025
A desktop attendance and payroll system that reads fingerprint devices and turns the logs into shifts, leave, incentives, and salary slips.
Al Yasiry Auto Imports 2022 – 2023
A Chrome extension that pulls Copart and IAAI live bidding into a car-import workflow. A dashboard handles vehicles, customers, and orders, and a mobile app lets customers follow their shipments.
LiveBash Private · 2025
An Arabic app for coordinating election-day work: attendance across offices, centers, and local groups, with live totals and notices moving through the hierarchy. It carried more than 20,000 concurrent users on the day.
بشائر المعرفة Private
A host-operated application for running a live quiz show: team scores, timed rounds, multimedia questions, audience participation, and debate turns, all driven from the keyboard.
Polly Iraq 2023
A company website built with Next.js and tuned for speed and search visibility.
Shasi 2025 – present
An auto-parts marketplace in progress: an Expo app, seller stock imports, staff administration, and a desktop POS.

vibeForming
A form builder with AI generation and response analysis, made in under 10 hours at the HUB200 GEW competition with Karar Haitham, who handled the AI side.
ItsOCR
Text extraction from images and PDFs with streaming results and API access. Another hackathon build, also under 10 hours, running on a self-hosted vision model.
AutoSub
A self-hosted addon that matches subtitles to the actual audio and corrects timing drift.
s3-temp-share
A Go CLI for sharing private S3 and R2 files through expiring links.
Evosim
A C++ simulation of creatures evolving neural networks through mutation and selection.
Hold'em odds
A C++ Monte Carlo calculator, with an optional 3D poker table.

About

I started early. At 13 I built a booking system for Emperror Hotel out of Google Apps Script and Google Sheets, and at 14 an app for مدرسة الفضل, which reached more than 600 users. Since 2024 I've been studying computer engineering at the University of Technology in Baghdad.

These days I mostly write TypeScript, React, React Native, and Go. I also like C++, and software that has to talk to something physical: fingerprint readers, phones, desktop machines.
